PUBG: New State surpasses 5 million pre-registrations within a week

PUBG-maker Krafton shared an article announcing that pre-registrations for its upcoming title PUBG: New State surpassed 5 million within a week.

The company announced PUBG: New State and Google Play pre-registrations for the free-to-play mobile title last week. However, App Store pre-orders will come later this year, the company said.

Developed by PUBG Studio and set in the year of 2051, PUBG: New State will allow users to explore a futuristic gaming experience. Meanwhile, players who pre-register for the title will get an exclusive skin. 

“We want to build on that legacy by creating an experience that pushes the limits of mobile gaming,” said MinKyu Park, PUBG: New State executive producer. “Watching our team come together to develop a global product has been an amazing experience, and we are confident that it will speak to all audiences when it launches later this year.”

The title is expected to be launched globally in late 2021.
