Most Downloaded Android & iOS Apps in April 2020

Sensor Tower, who provides important data about the world of mobile, shared the list of the most downloaded Android and iOS apps in April 2020. At the top of the list is Zoom, which offers solutions to the increasing communication need due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This popular video conferencing app was followed by TikTok.

Due to COVID-19, millions of people are now working from home and millions of students are studying online. This has increased the demand for video conferencing applications that provide solutions to the communication problem we’re encountering right now. Social media apps are also in high demand.

According to the list of Sensor Tower, in April 2020, the most downloaded app on both the App Store and the Google Play Store is Zoom – Clouds Meeting. The popular video-conferencing app was downloaded 131 million times in the past month, which is 60 times more than the number of downloads it got in the same month last year.

The country that downloaded Zoom the most is India with 18.2% and the USA followed India with 14.3%.

The second non-game application on the list is TikTok with 107 million app downloads. Last week, we shared with you the information that it has reached 2 billion downloads and became the most downloaded app in the first quarter of 2020.

Last month, it became the second most downloaded app and grew by 2.5% compared to the previous year. The country that downloaded TikTok the most is India with 22%, and the USA followed India with 9.4%.
