Twitter is reportedly working on in-app purchases for Android

Social media platform Twitter is reportedly working on in-app purchases for Android, according to Jane Manchun Wong, who is famous for reporting yet-to-release features of mobile apps and social media platforms.

The screenshots shared by the reverse engineer & app researcher show that Twitter is getting ready to add the Google Play billing service permission to its app page.

This could be used for the new premium features that the company has been working on to monetize its platform, including the Super Follows service which will charge users for exclusive content, new shopping features that will enable sales on the platform, the Tip Jar feature for its Clubhouse-like audio-chat rooms Spaces which will allow users to support people they follow with donations, the Undo Send feature and more.
