Twitter reportedly testing ‘Undo Send’ feature

App researcher Jane Manchun Wong has discovered that Twitter is testing an ‘undo send’ feature to let users fix a tweet with a typo or error.

It is not exactly an edit button that Twitter users have been requesting but it would help users to recall a tweet a few seconds after hitting send. However, according to the GIF, you can’t see a preview of the tweet while the undo send timer is active.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey previously said “We’ll never do it” regarding a prospect of an edit button.

Right now, Twitter is actively working on different ways to monetize its platform to reduce its dependence on advertising revenue. This week, the company confirmed that it is working on shopping features with both paid and organic tweets.

Last week, the company also announced a ‘Super Follow’ feature which will be a Twitch-like content producer subscription system to let users be able to subscribe to content producers whose content they like and to support.
