TikTok App Coming to Samsung TVs

TikTok announced on Monday the launch of TikTok on Samsung TVs, a new app that brings TikTok’s trending content to the home, available on Samsung TV devices in the UK. 

From today, the TikTok app can be accessed on all Samsung TV models from 2018 onwards which include Samsung’s award winning 4K and 8K TVs as well as its Smart Monitor, The Premiere, The Frame and The Serif, easily downloadable on the Samsung Apps store, and will be preloaded onto all new Samsung TVs purchased from today, with millions of Samsung TV owners now able to enjoy recipe hacks, comedy skits, challenges and more from the comfort of their sofa.

“TikTok on TV has been specifically created for a home-viewing experience, allowing people to view the For You and Following feeds, as well as a collection of the most liked and viewed content on TikTok. This content has been organised into 12 categories covering everything from animals, comedy, food and gaming, meaning the whole family will be able to find something they enjoy.” the company said in a statement

“People can also view a collection of #LearnOnTikTok videos so they can get the latest cooking hacks, fitness tips, and fun facts that TikTok has to offer.”

Users will also have a chance to like and comment on trending videos. People will also be able to block or mark video content as inappropriate that they are not interested in.
