Facebook Rolls Out Facebook Shops To Help Small Businesses

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all the businesses around the world, especially small businesses, continue to face economic problems. Social media giant Facebook rolls out ‘’Facebook Shops’’ to help them create their online storefronts and provide its users with a better shopping experience.

A few days ago, Facebook introduced Facebook Shops to help both small businesses and global companies around the world make online sales on Facebook and Instagram in an easier way. Mark Zuckerberg said it’s not going to ‘’undo all the economic damage’’ but described it as a way to help them.

With Facebook Shops, businesses can easily create their own online stores and showcase their products. In addition, users will be able to access their stories and purchase the products they want without leaving Facebook’s apps.

According to TechCrunch, more than 1 million businesses already signed up to Facebook Shops. The company will charge them small fees for each product they sell.

In addition to Facebook Shops, Instagram Shop will be made available this summer, starting in the USA.
