Google Play has announced the winners of Google Play’s Best of 2021, a collection of Android apps and games that made positive contributions to culture this year. Unlike previous years, Google expanded this year’s awards to apps and games on tablets, plus apps on Wear OS and Google TV.
While Pokémon UNITE won Best Game for its dynamic gameplay and cross-platform experience, Balance earned Best App of 2021 award.

Best Android Games of 2021
Pokémon UNITE was the winner of the 202q best Android game award. First announced in February and released in September on mobile, Pokémon UNITE has surpassed 25 million downloads on mobile and Nintendo Switch as of October.
Meanwhile, Google also announced the bests of five additional categories:
