Brussels-based ASO company AppTweak has raised $22 million in Series funding from early investor Media Group Rossel.

The company aims to use investment to expand its global presence with new offices in APAC and EMEA regions over the next three years as well as expand its teams of ASO experts. Currently, it has offices in San Francisco, Bengaluru, Tokyo, and Brussels.

“We will continue to grow our ASO platform with more innovation and more unique features. As you know, our mission is to build the most transparent, accurate and easy-to-use ASO tool. We will invest a lot of effort to maintain our leadership in the industry.” writes AppTweak CEO and co-founder Olivier Verdin.

Founded in 2014 by Sébastien Dellis and Olivier Verdin, AppTweak reported a 956.76% growth in sales revenue between 2016 and 2019, and currently has 47 full-time employees speaking 16 languages.

“The biggest challenge that we have is to manage customers in over 70 countries. The quality of relationships and support requires us to be closer to all our customers,” Verdin said in a statement.

AppTweak raised $1 million in a seed round led by Media Group Rossel, Brustart, Be Angels, Xavier Huerre and Cindy Naegel in 2014. In November 2015, it closed the second round of funding, scoring $500K from Be Engels, including a group of investors operated by the international investment platform Go Beyond, and Belgian media group Rossel.

“The track record of AppTweak is impressive. We are convinced that this investment will allow AppTweak to become a worldwide organisation, and develop the best ASO tool for apps and games,” said Bernard Marchant, CEO of Rossel.
