TikTok and The Walt Disney Company have announced a global content partnership that will bring official short-form videos from Disney’s entertainment brands to TikTok under what the companies describe as a first-of-its-kind content sharing agreement.

Under the partnership, Disney will distribute official short-form content from its portfolio—including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, ESPN, FX, ABC, and Hulu—through dedicated TikTok accounts. The agreement is designed to expand Disney’s reach on the platform while providing TikTok users with a larger library of official content.

According to the companies, the partnership goes beyond content distribution. Disney will gain access to TikTok’s suite of creative and marketing tools, allowing its brands to engage audiences through interactive features, creator collaborations, branded effects, and community-driven campaigns. The companies said these capabilities are intended to help extend conversations around Disney’s films, series, live sports, and other entertainment properties.

The collaboration will also create new opportunities for advertisers. TikTok said Disney will be able to integrate its content with advertising solutions across the platform, enabling brands to connect with audiences through premium entertainment content and short-form video experiences.

The agreement spans Disney’s global entertainment ecosystem, including theatrical releases, streaming services, television programming, sports, and consumer experiences. By combining Disney’s catalog of franchises with TikTok’s discovery platform, the companies aim to increase the visibility of official content while encouraging greater audience engagement.

TikTok said the partnership reflects the growing role of short-form video in entertainment discovery and fan engagement. For Disney, the agreement expands its digital distribution strategy by making official content available across one of the world’s largest short-form video platforms, while giving fans additional ways to discover and interact with its brands.

The announcement represents one of TikTok’s largest content partnerships with a global entertainment company, further strengthening the platform’s position as a destination for media companies seeking to distribute official content and reach younger, digitally native audiences.
